Care Philosophy
The philosophy at Melody Care is best summed up by the words displayed in large letters in our Training Centre: “Dignity, Compassion, Respect”. Owner, Simon Carter, is a Churchwarden of his local village church in East Tisted and everyone who works at Melody Care is chosen because they believe in the same values and principles of professional care as Simon does. We believe that, with the right attitude and training, there should be nothing our Care Assistants cannot do to help our clients to live independent lives in the manner of their choosing.
In line with the very best standards of care, as set down by the Care Quality Commission, Melody Care strives to ensure that the needs and desires of our Service Users are at the very centre of everything we do. We take pride in the quality of our training program and the calibre of the wonderful individuals that provide our care.
We believe that if we are to provide the highest possible quality of care to our clients we need to do two things:
1. recruit very special people with a great attitude and
2. train them thoroughly.
By having our own in-house training centre we have both the people and the resources to train our Care Assistants to a much higher standard than most are able to do.
